Turn-by-turn directions
Starting at the Information board at the town hall, we follow the main street to the Sophia-Spring. The Temple built around the spring, is the most important landmark of Bad Peterstal-Griesbach. We cross the road and walk back about 100 meters. Across from the gas station, we head right towards the forest. We pass the first water treading spot, in a small basin near the “Wendelinsbächle”. We keep walking on shady forest roads uphill to the water reservoir “Fichtensodquelle”.
Now we start the descent back down to the village. We make a stop at the Peterstaler Mineralquellen spring. We follow the Sebastian-Kneipp-Weg to the second water treading spot near the Schlüsselbadklinik. We leave the walkway after about 100 m, cross the small bridge and walk across the schoolyard back to our starting point.
