Vom Bahnhof in Bad Griesbach gehen wir zum Hotel Döttelbacher Mühle und folgen der Wanderbeschilderung gegenüber über den Eichbühl zum Breitenberg. Ist der knackige Aufstieg durch das Wohngebiet bis zum Waldrand erreicht, haben wir hier einen letzten herrlichen Blick auf Bad Griesbach. Jetzt sind fast alle Höhenmeter zurückgelegt, da uns der folgende Weg nur noch sanft ansteigend durch abwechslungsreiche Mischwälder zurück zur Hochalm Breitenberg führt.
