Kulturelle Highlights der 48 Kilometer langen Strecke sind das deutsche Zeitungsmuseum mit Exponaten aus der geschichtlichen Entwicklung der Zeitung sowie die Cristallerie in Wadgassen, welche mittlerweile zum Erlebniszentrum ausgebaut wurde. Das mit dem Wildfreigehege Wolfsrath lockt.
Am Ökosee, mit seinen naturbelassenen Schilfflächen, in Dillingen, trifft unsere Runde auf den besonders familienfreundlichen Saar- Radweg. Man kann gemütlich dahingleiten und die Runde in Saarlouis schließen oder einfach nur weiterradeln!
