Druckladen Gutenberg-Museum
Der Druckladen versteht sich als praxisbezogener Ort für jedermann mit einem Fach- und Laienbereich. Es handelt sich um einen authentischen Ort mit originalen Setzschränken, Bleischriften und Plakatlettern aus Holz. Die Kniehebel- und Tiefdruckpressen aus der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts betonen den Museumsbezug, stehen zugleich aber zur Benutzung bereit. Eine Tisch-Abzugs- und zwei Hand-Abzugspressen komplettieren das derzeitige Angebot an Handpressen. Als museumspädagogische Werkstatt bietet der »Druckladen« interessierten Gruppen wie auch Einzelpersonen Möglichkeiten zu praktisch-produktivem Tun im Bereich des Hoch- und Tiefdrucks.

The main attractions include a reconstruction of the inventor's old workshop with a usable press and 1.5 copies of the world-famous Gutenberg Bible. Print demonstrations take place every hour in the Gutenberg workshop (on weekdays and by arrangement).
