Visit the former bunker of Germany's Central Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank) in Cochem to join one of our guided tours. Experience the mystery of the former fall-out shelter and immerse yourself in the underground vault where millions of German Mark were kept during the Cold War.   

Guided tours all year round: Daily from April till November between 11am and 3pm, November and December open during weekends.

Wijzelf zijn hier op 31/12 geweest; wanneer in Cochem de meeste zaken dicht gaan om 15u00 wordt hier nog een publiek bezoek van 1u30 gestart! de gids was bijzonder vriendelijk en gidste ons gepassioneerd gedurende een anderhalf uur door de bunken. hij vertelde diverse interessante weetjes zonder dat het ooit langdradig werd. De bunker is heel netjes. Echt een aanrader. Let wel op bij drukkere periodes is er bij de bunker zelf zeker niet voldoende parkeerplaats, maar te voet tussen de 25 en 15 min naar gelang de openbare parking bereikbaar en tussen mei en oktober is er ook een bunkershuttle. Let wel op, zeker in de zomer, in de bunker zelf is het nooit meer dan 14°C.

Best interessant, mooi gerestaureerde trekkers en wijnbouwmachines, dagelijkse gebruiksvoorwerpen van weleer van uit de streek al mocht er hier en daar wat meer uitleg zijn; wel niet echt goedkoop. Interessant in de wintermaanden, maar let op tussen 2 nov en Pasen enkel open op zaterdag en zondag.
