Für mich hat der Saarradweg rund 203km und geht von Hermelange in Frankreich (Beginn der Saar nach Zusammenfluss von weißer und roter Saar) bis Konz. Die Strecke von Saarbrücken bis Konz bin ich am 16.04.2020 gefahren, die Kritik von Ulrich Krichel ist nicht ganz unberechtigt, es gibt aber auch durchaus längere sehr schöne Streckenabschnitte, sie sind auch weitgehend verkehrsfrei und flach (gibt es nicht so oft im Saarland). Der für mich absolut schönere Teil ist aber der (rund 100km, gefahren am 03.Sep.2021) von Hermelange bis Saarbrücken, am Kanal vorbei mit seinen 30 Schleusen samt mehr oder weniger restaurierten Schleusenwärterhäusern, Stock- und Mittersheimer Weiher und toller Landschaft.
