Long-distance hikes in Bremen

The German section of the International Coastal Path E9 Atlantic-Baltic runs alternately along the coast and inland without any significant ascents or descents. From Karlshagen, the route covers around 900 km to Charlottenpolder on the Dutch border.

The Pickerweg describes the pilgrimage and the section of the international Way of St. James from Bremen über Vechta into the diocese of Osnabrück. Pastures, fields, damp grassland and a few woods and small settlements characterise the North German Plain between Bremen and Osnabrück.

Der 200 km lange Geestweg ist der längste vom Wiehengebirgsverband Weser-Ems e.V. betreute Weitwanderweg. Er ist ein ungemein abwechslungsreicher Wanderweg zwischen Weser und Ems. Seinen Namen hat er von seinem Verlauf, der alle reizvollen Geestflächen durchläuft und Marsch- und Moorgebiete weitgehend ausspart. Viele Steingräber liegen am Weg.

Teil von Krusau (DK) bis Osnabrück Der Jakobsweg von der dänischen Grenze bis nach Osnabrück folgt im ersten Abschnit der Via Jutlandica (Westast) und der Via Baltica ab Harsefeld. Auf der Via Jutlandica sind viele Teile mit dem alten Ochsenweg identisch. In meinem Blog auf " http://gerhard.mlq.me " gibt es dazu mehr Informationen.
