Thie Hirn-Gallenberg Trail hiking offers a number of specific features auch as left-overs of quarries, waters, old vineyard terraces and other sights of cultural and historical importance. In addition, hikers will encounter stunning views in regular intervals giving this trail its additional name ‘Panoramic Trail Rammelfangen‘.

On „Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2007“ we explore the rocky landscape around the Litermont peak and encounter a willow dome, a Marian grotto and a Celtic cult site.

This attractive trail features a variety of sceneries and some spectacular stretches as well as beautiful views. There are also information boards on the way providing information about geological characteristics, mythical places and pre- and early history.

On “Germany’s most beautiful hiking trail 2007“ you will explore the rocky landscape around the Litermont peak. The path winds its way up the 414 meters high Litermont mountain, over rugged volcano rocks, forest paths and through hilly landscapes. On the way, hikers will encounter a willow dome and a Celtic ceremonial site.

This is an entertaining short tour along idyllic forests and meadows and leading to the deep gorge of the mill creek. An elaborate system of catwalks, bridges and steps take you close to the creek.

This trail leads round the idyllic valley of the Idesback creek and features interesting forest sceneries, mysterious gorges and gentle hollows. You’ll be rewared with stunning views and get a sense of the mystery of the forest.

It is popularly said that huge treasures guarded by dwarves are hidden under the Kaltensteinen – mysterious to this day.
