Bike rides in Bremen

A different kind of sightseeing: instead of walking, we discover Bremen by bike. Besides the Bremen Town Musicians and the cathedral, the old town "Schnoor" is also on our route.

This cycle tour takes us from Bremen through the wonderful cultural and natural landscape along the course of the Weser to Thedinghausen and Achim, before returning on the other side of the river.

A flat circular tour from Bremen to Oldenburg and back awaits us. We cycle mostly along the banks of the river Hunte and between fields and isolated settlements. Art and culture await us in historic Oldenburg.

We cycle 44 kilometres from the old town of Verden through the original Weser valley. Our route takes us along the Weser to historic Bremen. On flat cycle paths we cycle through the wide fields and farmland as well as some old villages.

Through the beautiful marshland of the district of Bremens, this cycle tour starts at Gartelmanns Gasthof and leads through the nature reserves Untere Wümme and Kuhgrabensee, üvia the district of Walle through the harbour, which is undergoing restructuring, into the centre and ends at the main railway station.

Die vielseitige Landschaft in Wesernähe mit ihren Seen, alten Dörfern und stillen, grünen Winkeln ist eine Wohltat für Körper und Seele. Der östlich von Bremerhaven liegende Ort Schiffdorf hat seinen Namen von der alten Schifffahrt, die einst auf der Geeste stattfand.

Diese landschaftlich sehr schöne Tour führt sie von Cuxhven über die Badeorte entlang der Küste und durch den Autoverladehafen nach Bremerhaven.

Our route takes us 62 kilometres from Bremen to Bremerhaven. We cycle along the Weser on flat cycle paths until it flows into the sea. In the Nordenham Museum, as well as in several museums in Bremerhaven, we can learn a lot about the history of the region and Frisian culture.

In Bremen spielt sich das Leben am Fluss ab: Ob Kneipenmeile oder Fußballtempel, ob Bier- oder Kaffeeproduktion, ob schickes Wohnen oder alternative Kunst - all das finden wir entlang der Weser.
