Salier Cycle Route
The Salier Cycle Route connects the German Wine Route with the Rhine on around 130 kilometres of mostly flat and therefore family-friendly trails. Between the wine and spa town of Bad Dürkheim, the cathedral and Nibelungen city of Worms and the imperial city of Speyer, the route passes through vineyards, wetlands, and fields where various vegetable crops are cultivated. The figure-of-eight route is centred around Lambsheim, which gives you the option of either cycling the entire route or a circular route to the north or south (each about 60 km).
